For as long as I can remember, travel has been my passion. Not just the act of going somewhere new, but truly immersing myself in different cultures—understanding how people live, what they cherish, and the traditions that shape them. I thrive on the challenge of stepping outside my comfort zone, the thrill of the unknown, and the deep connection that comes from experiencing the world in its raw, unfiltered beauty. Sitting at a resort pool for a week? That’s never been me. Give me adventure, discovery, and a reason to keep moving.
But then, life shifted.
When my son,N, was diagnosed with autism at 18 months, my world changed. Travel didn’t just pause - it disappeared. My days became filled with therapies, evaluations, and the relentless pursuit of understanding what he needed. I didn’t just lose travel; I lost myself. I became an advocate, a researcher, and a full-time support system, but somewhere along the way, I forgot what made me feel alive.

It wasn’t until N was in first grade that I realized something had to change. I needed to rediscover what brought me joy - not just as a mother, but as me.
That moment came unexpectedly at the CHOC Gala when my husband and I bid on (and won!) a trip to Fiji. At first, we debated leaving the kids behind. But something told us to take them. That trip changed everything. We saw firsthand that with the right preparation, accommodations, and mindset, travel was not only possible—it was life-giving.

Now, our adventures look a little different. Luxury travel with intentional accommodations is our sweet spot, ensuring N has the comfort he needs while we all get to experience the world. And through this platform, I want to share what we’ve learned.
Traveling with a neurodivergent child isn’t always easy, but it’s possible. And more than that—it’s worth it. My mission is to show other families that they don’t have to let fear stop them. That there is an entire world beyond Disney, beyond what feels “safe.” That luxury travel isn’t off-limits. And that with the right planning, they can create experiences they once thought were impossible.
If there’s something holding you back from traveling with your child, I challenge you—what’s the one thing stopping you? And what’s the wildest, most creative way you could make it work? Because the world is still out there, waiting for you.
Let’s go find it.
